Solutions of the Project which is carried out with the Project management of Konya Metropolitan Municipality and with the support of TUBITAK were made with Icosa Systems. The main building with a diameter of 110 m and height of approximately 30 m and Planetarium building with a diameter of 21 m are solved in the form of geodesic dome.

With the science center, open-closed exhibition areas and environmental design planned to included in the building which will have an approximately 16.000 m2 closed area and which will ve located in a total area of 99.347 m2, it has great importance as it will be first in Turkey in terms of content.

The planetarium included in the Konya Science Center Project will be the first fixed public planetarium of Turkey in 800 m2 area with its entrance, separate ticket booth, exhibition halls and capacity of 150 people.
